Wine-Searcher is a search engine for wine, with an enormous global database of wine merchants' price lists. Our website at www.wine-searcher.com has been running for over 10 years, and has brought price transparency to a traditionally opaque trading environment. We help the wine trade by supplying marketing information, and we help consumers locate, price, and purchase wines.

We are correcting and enhancing our database of wine names and their details.

We require: Wine knowledge, accuracy, attention to detail, and familiarly with working with computers. We prefer tertiary qualifications (such as a degree), and those who have wine qualifications (such as WSET courses). Familiarity with wines from specific parts of the world (such as North or South America, Spain, etc.) would also be an advantage.

Working in our Auckland offices (in New Lynn) you will be part of a team that will correct, enhance, and manage our definitive database of the wines of the world.

This is a contract position, with an initial period of three months. Pay will start at $20 NZD per hour depending on experience.
