Vintners New Zealand Limited is a privately owned fine wine distributor and importer. We are proud to represent some of New Zealand's most iconic wineries together with a selection of international stars.

We are seeking a person to step into a senior account management role to manage a group of existing customers as well as actively pursue new business opportunities. The territory for this role focuses on Wellington on premise and independent retail, as well as selected regional account management for the Wairarapa, Hawkes Bay and Taranaki.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a sales professional who has a proven background of account management. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate very good wine knowledge, developed from experience in the wine, hospitality or wider liquor industry. A self starter with high standards of professionalism who can work autonomously as well as pull together with the rest of the team when required. A person who has great people skills and a commitment to building strong business partnerships, while being able to tightly manage the nuts and bolts behind the scenes. A current knowledge of key hospitality figures in Wellington would be an advantage. Some out of town and overnight travel is required as part of the role.

A very competitive remuneration package including company vehicle will be offered to the successful applicant.
